Increasing the amount of time that working mothers spend with their children can come in many different forms, including regular on-site childcare, emergency on-site childcare for sick children, or explicit policies that allow children to come to work with their parents. In a family-friendly work environment, children, and especially infants, should be welcome to attend some work events outside of regular business hours as well as professional conferences. If work or conference events are for adults only, then child care should be provided by the organization.
