In Home Providers

If you decide to hire an in-home provider, then you will take your child somewhere outside of your own house each morning. Location is another key consideration. Most physician-mothers who choose a childcare arrangement that is out of their own home opt for a either a location that is close to work or one close to home.

Most in-home providers care for very young children up to a certain pre-school age. In (someone else’s) home providers usually have a few but not as many children or staff as does a daycare. They tend to be reasonably priced somewhere between a nanny and a daycare. They are sometimes a little more flexible than daycares.
