Not all of your job’s duties are going to be obvious at the outset, especially before you’ve even started working. However, your major responsibilities should be written down including an estimate of the time that you will need for each task in a typical week. To help you with this process, talk to other physicians in your practice or at your institution who work part-time. Ask to review a written copy of their job descriptions.
